Providing Value Through Blogging

This blog has been created as a response to the increasing number of requests and questions from our alfa testers, as well as beta plan users regarding sports betting. I initially planned to use this platform exclusively as a support forum for oddscube users. That project is still on track to kick off in early November. You will soon see several new categories popping up here soon, were o3 users will be able to request new features, report a bug, check out the release notes, ask questions or just talk with other users. I’m sure the rich features of this discussion platform (notifications, closed groups, messaging system, etc.) will make that a great experience. It also means we will be phasing out direct email communication we currently use.

There seems to be a great demand for more though. I have received many emails with questions about basic betting knowledge like: odds and their meaning, probability, value betting, bankroll management strategies, betting exchanges, and many other related topics. I used to reply with links to existing sources on the net, as there’s plenty of information out there, but that did not stop the emails coming in. I finally concluded that some form of blogging about sports betting would be of value to our less experienced users and others. If you don’t know yet I’m a big fan of value, so if I can provide some I’m all in. I intend to write in a more user-friendly style than most of the material available out there to share knowledge with a much bigger betting audience. Keep in mind that I am flat out developing o3 features for the upcoming preview release (current ETA early December), as well as expanding our cloud infrastructure to accommodate more users, so don’t expect weekly posts :).
